The packaging was high quality and in excellent condition. All components were as advertised and in the box. Machine was a tad heavier than expected but still close to expectations. Operates smoothly at lower speed settings(only go to 2.5 max) even with new wool pad. Most of my experience is with a DA Polisher and this is my first "small rotary". So far removes defects much quicker with 1/2 the passes. Used a 5" pad with no issues so not limited to just 3" or smaller backing pads. Much easier to control than my "full size" rotary. Weight of the machine is all that is required when polishing. Only disappointment is the lack of 3" Backing plate not supplied with the machine. Given the cost, would be nice to actually use the machine "out of the box" rather than wait a week to get a 3" Backing Plate.
